The Woodo cafe in Colomb Bay, South Goa, India has some fantastic pure veg food offerings for your palate. Originally based in Agonda, it’s owners Lilam, Lalita and their sons from Nepal have now relocated to Colomb Bay, situated at the North end of Patnem beach.

Follow the beach road into Colomb, pass through some hawker stalls & ornament shops and it’s tucked away location is just on the main Colomb Road. With great sunset & sea views, the quiet location is perfect for a quick tea or coffee, snack, or for a full blown evening meal.
What’s on offer
It has an on-site bakery serving up sugary sweets and cakes, a perfect accompaniment to an espresso or cappuccino. Bread & other pastries are also available to purchase.
Their menu has an array of options on hot & cold drinks, including shakes, lassi’s & fruit juices. There are also various breakfast, lunch & dinner options to choose from. The dishes are all prepared & cooked fresh to order. We recommend the special chow mein & the special Thali. Both are amazingly good and very reasonably priced.

With free Wi-Fi available, it’s a great location to catch up on emails over a light snack and cool refreshment. There’s plenty of room to park outside if passing on a scooter. It’s also conveniently on the walking route towards Palolem & Agonda.
If the owner is not busy cooking your meal, he may give you a game of backgammon and is a challenging player. It’s a great place to relax and unwind with cooling breezes coming in off the sea. You can very easily lose a couple of hours just sitting and watching local life pass you by, it’s that chilled.
