We visited the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay in Thailand as part of a boat package from Ao Nang. This covered 6 islands in the archipelago in the southern Thai province of Krabi. The boat tour including Phi Phi Leh, Phi Phi Don, Bamboo island, Pi Leh and Monkey island. The tour tickets can be purchased at the beach front stand by the pier costing £6 pounds per person.

With breath taking scenery on route around the islands, this was a great way of seeing amazing sites for a reasonable price, and with free drinks throughout the journey. It’s a beautiful setting and one of the highlights of the trip.

There was a buffet lunch at Tonsai Village on Phi Phi with plenty of choices for anyone’s tastes. You then had a couple of hours to explore and look around the various shops of the village.

Onward Travels
Boats to Phuket, Koh Lanta and Railay Beach can all be arranged whilst in the area, with plenty of agents scattered around. Visit a few to get a rough price and barter hard, as all prices are negotiable so don’t take the first offer. flights from Krabi airport to Phuket, Koh Samui and Bangkok can be had for very little, so check out Air Asia for connecting flights.
