Our Favorite South Goa Beaches
Palolem Beach
Located in the Canacona district, Palolem is around one and a half hours by Taxi from Goa’s Dabolim airport. It’s crescent bay attracts many visitors and Is South Goa’s most popular boutique beach destination. Being sandwiched between Patnem and Agonda which are a short drive away, the area is popular with tourists and backpackers.
Agonda Beach
Agonda beach in South Goa is located around 1 hour and 20 minutes from Dabolim airport, and a 15 minute drive from Palolem. If you’re after a peaceful get away Agonda will tick most boxes. The night-life is low key so a perfect location to relax.
Patnem Beach
Patnem beach is located in South Goa and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Dabolim airport. If you’re after a quiet day at the beach this location is ideal to soak up the sun. Enjoy a cold one and relax on the beach. It’s great location for lunch without any hassles.
Cola Beach
Cola beach is situated 7 km from Agonda beach and a short journey of around 20 minutes along the beach road. It’s a relaxed and idyllic location and should definitely be on your list of places to visit in south Goa.
Colomb Bay Beach
Colomb Bay is situated between South Goa’s Palolem and Patnem beach, and it’s setting is situated overlooking the Arabian Sea. A few restaurants have the perfect location for sunsets in this very quiet and tranquil setting.
