Welcome to Brixham Devon – our new home. We’re now based down in Brixham Devon in the south- west of the UK and we have adapted and settled quickly into our new surroundings.
It’s been a hectic couple of months with straightening out our new home, and getting things up to date & ready to rent out later this year.
You name it, we’ve attacked it, from electrics, plumbing, gardening, a refitted bathroom and that’s just the start. We are slowly dragging this place into the new millennium though, and have met some great people along the way. A few now new found friends.
We couldn’t of picked a better place to call home eventually after our upcoming travels, and having explored around on a few days out. Most of our energies have mostly been on bringing our place up to speed on the living front.
The major stuff has all been completed, with just a couple of rooms to decorate and then onto the gardens for a tidy up and a re-think on a few pieces. It’s oh so quiet – just how we like it.
We have also sold our car, which has paid for most of the works we have gone ahead with. Since moving down in March, we had only managed 25 miles in 9 weeks. We really don’t need one anymore without any commutes to work, any has replenished our funds of the move and a few bits we needed to do on the place.
Upcoming Plans
We haven’t been very active on our social media, but this update will show you why. In 2-4 weeks we should be out and about more. We’ll be showing whats on offer & what Brixham and it’s surrounding area’s have to offer. From Paignton, Torquay, Goodrington and Dartmouth to name a few, there’s so much to see & do in Torbay.
