Cambodia is on the rise as a top backpacking destination, and has much to offer with the Unesco world heritage site Angkor Wat as it’s main attraction. There are various cheap onward travel options to Phnom Penh and the coastal town of Sihanoukville either by bus, coach or plane, and plenty of tour operators to purchase tickets for the next part of your journey.

You will find that Dollars work best here, and you will receive change in local Cambodian Riel for small purchases, and most Credit/Debit cards are also accepted with plenty of cash-points around town.
